      Close to the ferry terminal.

It would have been nice to have had an electric jug and coffee making facilities in the room. It just had bed and table, chairs and a couch.

Contact by the owners prior to arrival to offer directions and travel alternatives. I had informed the owner/manager that I would arrive by ferry and would walk from the terminal to the park. On my arrival there was heavy rain, and I was delight to find that the managers wife had driven to the port to meet me. I only stayed one night, but wish it had been for longer. The manager and his wife were very friendly and helpful, the cabin was clean and warm with ample bedding, and the location was handy for the town centre, railway station and ferryport.

The camper park is not shown on a number of tourist maps/handouts of the area and can be easily missed.

The Picton Campervan Park exceeded my expectations, the staff were friendly, the place was very clean and tidy, the tv/lounge had very nice tea and coffee for the cabins, the unit had everything we required and the flat screen tv provided was a bonus. Thankyou for the wonderful stay we would highly recommend this campervan park to any of our family and friends and we be making sure we book here again if going to the South Island again. You have won us over, keep up the great job. Cheers Lindsay McBride & Family

We stayed at the Picton Campervan Park because we were in transit to Wellington via the Bluebridge ferry and we found the price was affordable as we were only looking for a place to shower and sleep and it was very handy to the terminal especially for the early sailing. Our cabin was very clean and comfortable and all services were well appointed and clean.

The only thing that was disappointing about the Picton Campervan Park was the continual road noise throughout the night from heavy transport travelling to the railyards. We had a lovely unit and warm and comfortable bed but the traffice noise kept us awake for many hours. What a shame. You cannot do much about this problem.

It was cute, quiet, had friendly staff, free tea and coffee, comfortable wee room with tv and was affordable. I would definately stay again.

Clean chalet with comfortable double bed, a tv and a couch. Very Clean shared showers and lounge area too.

Nothing major but I vacated my chalet before the 10 O'Clock check-out time but was using the internet in the tv / Lounge area while waiting for my 1 O'Clock bus to leave from Picton. After an hour or so, I was the sole remaining person in the Campervan Park and the weekend staff made a point of reminding me that check out was 10 A.M. twice. I know this, that is why I had left the chalet but apparently they were not happy about having a guest use the facilities for an hour or two after this point. Honestly, I think they wanted to have the place to themselves without customers, one would almost think that I had not paid for the privilege of staying there!! Otherwise, a nice stay.

+ Small but clean rooms for a very low price + TV in the room + Only a five minute walk to the city centre + ideal stay before going on the interislander ferry + Very cheap!

Very Clean and central. The receptionist was very friendly and warm.Great value for money and convenient!

apart from the toilet not being in the Chalet.so if your depress for a wee you would have to go before bed time. I would definitely come back again.

Very good facility. We were impressed with the cosy style of the cabin and pleased with the modest but appreciated extras (tv, Heater, somewhere to sit and relax!) All in all, we got a lot more than what we expected for the price we paid. Very happy!!

That the alarm clock went off at 5am!!! Guess we should've checked that before bed!! Haha!!

The campervan park was handy to the ferry when arriving on a late ferry. It was very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend it to anybody that is needing somewhere to stay short term. The cabins were excellent, simple, clean and tidy and close to kitchens and bathrooms.
